June Journeys

I have had lots of fun working in the op-shop and keeping my corner nice and tidy. They have lots of big blankets for the cold weather at the moment and I have enjoyed learning to fold the different shaped sheets as well.

I also had fun helping sort the hand bags and matching them by their  different sizes on the different hooks. It is great being trusted in different parts of the building now.

The weather has been a bit rubbish this month but I have really enjoyed getting out and playing Tennis with my friends, it is a great game where the balls go in any direction they want. I also had a great day getting to the strand playground and exploring the sound makers there. It is a sensory wonderland.

With it being raining I still love to go out and have enjoyed going to the Marble Bar and working on my pool shots. It is great practicing lining up my shots.

I had a great morning going to 10 pin Tauranga and playing on the different arcade machines there. It is lots of fun exploring them and how the machines work. I also have enjoyed visiting the library and reading some new books. I know the ones at the Centre pretty well now and can even sign the alphabet to our butterfly book.

We have been following the FIFA world cup this month, my team is Switzerland and I am excited to see them play. I enjoy when we can put it on in the sensory room on the big screen. The crowds there get so excited. It is an awesome atmosphere.

I am really excited by the production and the fun days we have coming up in July!
