Joyus July

I have had a great July, I really enjoyed going to see Paddington Bear in Peru with my friends at Sonic Cinema. There was lots of laughing and I enjoyed the popcorn we were given. I also enjoyed getting out to see the Drama production - The Princess Slumber Party Disaster. I loved seeing my friends on the stage. These shows were so much fun to watch, but I also really enjoyed having a great audience to enjoy it with.

I was back to the Historic village this month, seeing their new fairy garden installment. It was cool to see the little bits on the ground turned into something so pretty. I have quite the eye for tiny bits and bobs like those used in the houses.

I had a great time getting out and about to the library this month too. I love reading books with my friends and the quiet space is so calming. I have been working on my relaxing techniques and getting soothing quiet spaces to practice makes such a difference.

In the sensory room I have been really enjoying wonderful underwater scenes, from exploring all of the items and fixing some of our jelly fish and adding some glow in the dark pieces to them, to creating new pieces for the box. I had loads of fun making coral reefs with pipe cleaners, they were lots of fun to work with, such a different texture than I am used to and the wire inside was lots of fun to manipulate.

I love my sessions with Arohanui and I am excited for August.
