walk into Greerton

I had a nice walk into Greerton village. Here I am outside the public library where there is a huge Christmas tree!!! it looks awesome and I look pretty Handsome with my big smile.

I got to crack a Christmas cracker from our advent calander this morning I really enjoyed my Kiss chocolate and joke.

I have made a really cool boat in arts and crafts! I decided to take it to Yatton park and sail it down the stream. It floated really well!

we had a really cool outing out to the Rose gardens yesterday for our photography group. The roses are starting to bloom and the sun was shining.

Zoooom

In my photography sessions I have been learning how to use the zooooom on the camera and IPad. I really like to say the word zoooom. I also have been learning how to take selfies using different emotions. My favourite one is "happy".

I had a fun time going to the game centre that is in the |Ten Pin bowling building in Town. they have arcade games, pool tables, air hockey and other cool things to do. I really love playing pool!

Guide dogs

i had a lovely time meeting the puppies that are training to be guide dogs for the blind foundation. One of the dogs

sports outing

I enjoyed my sports outing yesterday afternoon. I played basketball, I was very good at shooting hoops.

Olives Farm

 Always enjoy going to look at the donkeys, Olive also gives us carrots to feed the donkeys, they are so friendly!!

Music

I have learnt to play the keyboard, and can play Mary had a little and happy birthday now by reading the music.

Tenpin

I had a great time at tenpin with my friends. I did a great job getting a strike.

Elephant jigsaw puzzle

I love puzzles so much that I have been working really hard on making a Jigsaw puzzle of my own during woodwork and arts and crafts time. I drew shapes on wood then we used a jigsaw to cut out the pieces. |I chose my colours, here is a picture of me painting the background. I showed my staff that I wanted to have an Elephant on my Puzzle. I will show you next week what it looks like all finished!!

Ten Pin

Yesterday for sports outing my friends and I got to go Ten Pin Bowling and I really enjoyed it.

My adventure at the water park

I always enjoy going to the water park at the Crossings area, it is so much fun, even better when you get wet by the water... cant wait for summer to come around so I can go and play with the water and get wet even more.

Life skills

in lifeskills  I have been practising my laundry skills including folding clothes and a visit to the laundromat to dry some clothes. I even watched a video on Konmari way of folding clothes.

Today we went for a nice walk by the Historic Village and had a look at the men's toy shed.

I went to classic flyers, I looked at all the different planes and got to sit in one. We had morning tea there. it was a really cool morning.

I am doing a mono print using the cut out of a zebra.

Mothersday card

yesterday in lifeskills I made a mothers day card. I first cut out shapes in different colours which I later clued on the actual card. I choose my own little  message which I wrote onto the card. I also created my own envelope and decoded it with lots of lovely stickers.

I am making a paper mâché animal it is looking really good.

I have started to make a wire zebra in art. I helped lily roll up paper and tape it to the wire frame.

3d trick art gallery!

We had an awesome day of photo oppourtunities in Rotorua at The 3D trick art gallery. The paintings were painted by a group of artists from Korea... They were amazing! After our gallery time, we fed the gorgeous deer which were grazing... I was a natural!

I am turning into quite the Piano man around the centre. I like to play with staff, my friends and sometimes on my own.

Creating a masterpiece

Today I created a stencil art masterpiece on fabric using paint, sponges and clover stencils. Some of the paint is UV paint so it will glow in the dark. Very cool.

Another DAY

I HAVE TRULY enjoyed my day, going on outings and enjoying adventures with my friends, im glad the weather has been warm, look forward to many more adventures to come..
