The Cargo shed

 Today I went to the cargo shed to see the Climate Canvas exhibition. 

There were art works from 10 finalists on display including our staff member Dee. She joined us for out outing today and was excited to show us her art. We talked about climate action and how Arohanui takes part every day.

Memorial Park

 

 Yesterday we went on a fun outing to Memorial Park. The wind was blowing so hard it was spraying the water out of the fountain! It was nice to get outside and enjoy the day.

Today I went to the Bridge community op shop to help out with sorting the baby cloths and collecting the hangers. JH

Weaving exhibition

 Today we went to the weaving exhibition near the historic village. It was amazing. I was impressed with all the amazing crafts. We met the students and teachers who did all the work. It was fun walking around and looking at everything.

I enjoyed exploring the triangle this morning. I found out that I had to hold the string to make the full sound, if I hold the metal it doesn't work properly

Today we did an outing to the library and we were surprised to see a harpist sitting in the children’s area playing for everyone!

It was such a lovely surprise. She played a beautiful Japanese piece about cherry blossoms which we. Hold see outside the library window.

I loved the animals today, I pet lots of them and I fed some out of my handle. I like the fluffy soft animals the most, like the goats and the deer. Not really the birds

Te Puna Quarry Adventures

Today my friends and I went to further explore the magic of Te Puna Quarry. I visited the Cactus garden, investigated the magical garden with its native musical instruments, went hunting at the frog pond and saw many winged beauties in the butterfly house. JG
