Christmas party 2020

 On Wednesday we had our 2020 Christmas party. We had circus performers and a DJ. i enjoyed having a turn with the spinning plates. What a awesome way to end the year.

New Games!

 Today I am looking for some new games to try on the IPAD I chose a bubble shooting game, I am good at matching the colours to pop the bubbles. I am also trying the games already on the IPAD, there is a pirate ship game and tractor driving!

Art wizz

 I am enjoying painting rocks to hide in the community for people to find. I am also decorating pinecones for Christmas 🎄

For the birds 🦅

 Today I am really enjoying learning about birds. I love all their  different colours.

Classic Flyers

 I had an amazing trip to Classic Flyers with my friends - I enjoyed looking at all the different planes!

 I am busy painting rocks for our garden! Aren’t they lovely!

 I am trying out some new puzzle  games on the iPad this morning, i am stacking shapes by their size

Today in computers  I am playing  my favorite game finding nemo, i like to match the rocks to reveal the hidden picture.

Marshall’s Animal Farm 🦆🐔🐣

 I had an amazing time at Marshall’s Animal Farm. I took photos of the animals and I fed them too!

 i really enjoyed helping to put the tent up today and chilling out in it.

 We went to the battle of Gate Pa site to take photos of the carvings and the view on top of the hill. I really loved the trees as well.  

IPad time!

This morning in computers I am trying new games on the IPad such as the bus driver game where I pick all the kids up for school.

Paper recycling

First stage of paper recycling is ripping up old newspapers and magazines and putting them in a bucket with hot water overnight.

 i am having art sessions using broken tiles to make a mosaic kiwi. I am enjoying designing which coloured tiles to put on the board.

Guys group

 in guys group yesterday we went to rebel sports! I loved trying out all the camp chairs.

Today in computers I am trying some new games on the Ipad, I am stacking rings by there size.

 

Pool play

During Sports Outings I have been working on my pool skills. I really like using the bridge to shoot the balls into the pocket. It makes me smile.

Selfies with Photobooth

I took some cool selfies of myself using the photobooth app on the iPad. I also edited some really cool photos on the computer using photoshop.

Art

This morning I helped paint a board that we will use as a wall hanging at the center. I used different colours and different methods to make different textures.

Robots

I had an amazing time today learning about different types of robots in guys group.

Bowl me over

For sporst outing this week, I went with my friends to Wilrose Center to play indoor bowls. I had a good time even though I did not win. I would love to do this again.

I am happy to be back at the centre after Lockdown and excited to see all of my friends! 
today I went on a cool outing this morning to Kopurererua Valley Reserve to feed the ducks, did some of my favourite puzzles that I have missed and enjoyed the atmosphere.

I am really enjoying painting in art and crafts today.

Photography

I have been taking photos of light, shadows and reflections. I took a really cool photo of my reflection in a mirror after blowing bubbles onto the glass. I like how the light reflects off the bubbles too. I love a good selfie.

This afternoon I went to the historic village for a walk and to visit the men’s shed. What a nice sunny afternoon.

Going for a Paddle

I went for a lovely visit to Sulphur point to see the boats and I decided it was time to cool down, dip my toes and have a nice paddle in the water. what a cool outing!!
